Ways To Support

Wye River Upper School

The Annual Fund is our yearly giving campaign that runs in conjunction with the school’s fiscal year from July 1 – June 30. The Annual Fund helps us cover the operational costs since a high-quality education for our students is not covered by tuition alone.

The good news - Annual Giving contributions are tax-deductible.

The best news - Annual Giving supports every student, every class, and every teacher, every year.

Whether you are a family member, a student, a community member, a Trustee, a teacher, or staff, we rely on contributions from everyone to deliver our programs.

Your gifts to the Wye River Upper School’s Annual Fund whether a one-time gift, or a monthly gift, helps us provide:

  • Competitive compensation, benefit packages and professional growth opportunities.

  • An art and music program that offers students the opportunity to develop their skills and talents in a wide variety of creative endeavors.

  • Up-to-date technology that is integrated into every part of the curriculum along with assistive-learning software.

  • Experiential learning opportunities both within and outside of the school environment.

  • A MakerSpace that allows students to explore and create through project-based learning and real-world problem-solving.

  • And much, much more!

High participation in Annual Fund giving signals institutional strength and school pride. It means that more individuals are sharing the financial responsibility to support the School and that we have a community of advocates who believe in and support our mission. We are very proud that each year,100% of our Trustees, Faculty and Staff have chosen to support the school’s annual fund.

Annual Fund

We are incredibly grateful to our partners in providing quality education to bright students who learn differently regardless of their families’ economic circumstances.

A Wye River education is imperative to the success of our students. In alignment with our mission, Wye River strives to make our educational experience accessible to all who need us.

Our students and their families have been on an exhausting and expensive path before they enter our doors. Often by this time, their resources have run out. This is why your support for our Financial Aid Fund is so critical.

Wye River works hard to maintain a generous Financial Aid program. Each year we reach out to individuals, corporations and foundations to specifically request Financial Aid support for our students.

Several foundations have committed to supporting these bright young people for their full four years at Wye River.

When you contribute to the Financial Aid Fund you are making an investment in our students' future, and becoming a partner with us as we provide an environment where each student can thrive and be successful. A gift to the Financial Aid Fund directly impacts the trajectory of our students' future paths. Thank you for helping us change student lives.
