Transportation from the Eastern Shore and Annapolis Area
Establishing a sense of history is important to us. That’s why we purchased and refurbished the Centreville Armory in 2014, in the quaint town of Centreville, Maryland in the heart of Queen Anne’s County. We believe in the historic integrity of this town and the quiet, safe environment that this area offers, which is why we chose the now revitalized historic Centreville Armory as our school's home.
Because of our distinctive mission, Wye River Upper School students travel to our campus from the Eastern and Western Shores. About 50% of our student population lives in the greater Annapolis area. Our students currently hail from 12 counties, including Anne Arundel, Calvert, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Howard, and Wicomico Counties, as well as the state of Delaware. To make our school accessible to those who need us, we offer daily bus service to and from eight stops throughout the region.
